High Hopes – Blue Knob, PA

This lift opened one year after the parallel Route 66 double and has also undergone numerous changes over the decades.
The top terminal is CTEC.
Chairs are Doppelmayr EJ models.
The lift crosses under Expressway.
There is little sign of the original Roebling construction.
Upper lift line.
Unlike Route 66, there are no mid-stations along the 4,200 foot length.

    How is this lift 700-800 feet shorter than Route 66 when they are parallel with adjacent top and bottom terminals?
