This beginner lift is the shortest Mueller double on the mountain.Drive station inside a building.Riding up the line.Middle section of the line. The only tube tower on this lift.Arriving at the return.Upper terminal area.Fixed top bullwheel.View down the lift line.Lower lift line.
It did not come from Stowe, they never had any Muellers. IV Ouest, installed the same year, could have also been built with components from the same lift as this one.
It’s a shame this lift was removed. It was perfect for never evers and new-ish skiers. While the new I quad will be great to attract more low and mid intermediates to the west side, I feel the removal of the 1500′ II w will leave a gap between the I SkyTrac and the 300′ of conveyors.
Was this lift really relocated from stowe? If i recall, stowe never had a mueller lift.
This lift must have come from somewhere else

Definitely not.

Those appear to be the most common type of pre-1985 Mueller sheaves.

A fixed grip quad would be a good replacement for this busy lift.
