Does anyone know if this lift still runs?

Yeah it still runs, as of now it’s just a backup for the 6 pack next to it.
There has been talk of shortening Kuma and making a beginner lift out of it and getting rid of Cub. Top terminal would be about the same elevation as top of Cub is now. Think would be a great idea!!!
But seems like they don’t want to spend the money. Although the cost would be minimal compared to a new lift.

Not anymore. It’s for sale per Peter’s news blog for this week.

Probably because there is talk of selling it to Kirkwood and using the money for a lift to the village

Kuma will be shortened in the summer of 2024. It becomes a beginner lift.

Chairs have been removed so I assume it’s being dismantled and won’t run again.

Kuma won’t run again in it’s current configuration. It will be operating in 2024 -2025 as a beginner lift. The new top will be uphill of existing tower 8, same elevation as Cub top. Cub lift will disappear.
