I had the same question, so I went into google earth and tried looking at old satellite imagery, and found our answer. It was moved back about 400 feet in the mid 2000s to service some sort of lodge/house at the bottom.
I am surprised that Ski Discovery didn’t get Lodge to replace Anaconda. I assume with Lodge going to Lost Trail, it will be a terrain expansion as its lifts are way too short to replace an existing lift, plus does it even get the skier visits to make a HSQ worthwhile?
How much length was added to the lift when it was extended and what for?

Looks like about two or three new towers were added in the process.

Do not all of these chairs have bubbles on them? In picture #3 it looks like there is a chair without a bubble.

No. The older YC bubble lifts only have them on every other chair.

Is this lift going anywhere or scrap?

Heard a rumor they want Lake and Lodge to go to smaller Montana ski areas. Perhaps Lost Trail.

Could Red Lodge finally be in a position to replace Triple Chair?

That would be a game changer for both mountains.
