This lift was installed where runs the Tempête Express beetween 1984 and 1988, when they built the Tempête Express. After taht, they re-installed it on the Mountain 6, that was supposed to give access to mountains 4 and 5. It never happened. If this lift runned on Mountain 6 it was not for a long time. Finally Mt Gleason bought it and re-installed it as Laurent-Lemaire Quad.
Yes you are correct. When you’re skiing at Stoneham you can still see the trail 61 where the lift was. Some skiers are going into it for fresh powder. Sad the expansion did not took place. I’m curious, whre have you found this map ? On skimaps.org ?
Wonder how low the HRs on this lift were before the move to Mont Gleason. 1984 Quad, Ran until 1988, moved to MT6, never ran there until 2007, moved and now runs
Didn’t the old La Roca Yan detachable quad have GMM chairs?

No, those were REAC chairs.

According to RM.net, this lift was originally at Stoneham, and sat for quite awhile mothballed. Not quite sure about the date that the lift was moved.

Is it the lift to the far right, right below the “future development” that never happened?
