Had the opportunity to check out this little area a couple days ago. Had a really nice conversation with the operator at the bottom of Clarence about the Forest Service sorta screwing them over. Cute spot, worth checking out, glad to see them running the lift and bringing in a good amount of visitors in spite of the ski season there being over.
Had a free day after attending my mother in laws funeral. Wife an I drove up for lunch at the restaurant. Classic old school ski area. Lift was running for sight seeing at about .5 m/s. Absolutely the opposite end of the ski industry compared to where I work.

im surprised they get enough snow for skiing in this part of Arizona
