      The listing says 1581 feet, and google maps says 1571 not accounting for vertical portion so I think this is indeed the lift mentioned there in 1988. The other lift alignment on this mountain is nearly 400 feet longer so it seems that this is the only possible spot to fit the lift mentioned here as well. Beyond any reasonable doubt the old john lift was installed in 1988.It also was spinning this winter so it seems they do want to keep it operational. fun fact; it’s faster than the newer lift beside it.

    Still listed on the trail map but hasn’t moved an inch, maybe it’s not long for this world.
