They finally announced it: “Jane’s Quad, designed and manufactured by Skytrac, will significantly improve skier and rider access to the Uptown, Freewheeler, and Downspout trails. The new top terminal will be located above the location of existing Overbrook terminal to eliminate the uphill section of Uptown. The lift has a 3633 foot horizontal length and 757 foot vertical rise.”
This lift has two types of hanger arms, with many chairs having to be replaced after a tornado hit in May 1995. Anyone know which were the originals?

Ah I see. The other type on this lift I believe is an early CTEC modification to the Thiokol chair design before they were replaced entirely.

they have had extra chairs around behind the upper lodge. But this rumor has been in place for years.

Its not a rumor anymore, they have it all marked out for a new lift. I also asked one of the maintenance people and they confirmed.
