Are you sure La Verte came from Stagecoach? I thought I read somewhere that the lift that was removed from Stagecoach went to Granby Ranch and then to Winter Park. All I was able to find on the relocation was that “the owner of the resort bought it second hand from Colorado.” There were a lot of Heron-Poma installations in Colorado and that doesn’t narrow down anything to Stagecoach. Is there another source out there that confirms La Verte is the lift from Stagecoach that was removed?

I would think it would be the old chairlift from now closed Hidden Valley in Colorado. Even though the lift was removed in 1977, a trail map I found from 1975 doesn’t show La Verte. The length matches up pretty well.

Indeed it was from hidden valley co. It was installed here in 1977. I do know this is a fact from talking to many people who worked at hidden valley and one of the hidden valley owners son. My question is why was it removed when the hsq was removed

Could the Borvig Quad have come from Big Vanilla? The length matches up pretty well along with the design of the lift itself matches for a 1987 Borvig quad. The only other Borvig Quad that came from a closed ski area would have been the quad from Snowpeak, PA and that quad ended up at Laurel Mountain, PA.
