I see by the fact that you called it ‘West’ and not Snoqualmie why you called the lift ‘old time’, but there are lifts thirty years older still operating all around it.
True Old Timers still call the area (West) Snoqualmie Summit, or just Summit. Central is Ski Acres. East will always be Hyak. And, Alpental is insanely steep and fun.
Pa still calls the hotel across the road the Vomit Inn. And I definitely still hear people say Ski Acre and Rainqualmie. East, Central, and West are silly, and hyphenating Alpental is even worse.
The best of the old time lifts at West.
