I believe Sheehan is the only lift that uses those chairs with an alpha drive. After riding Sheehan last spring I can say that I really like this chair style. They are very comfortable, the bar is nicely weighted, and vibrations are kept to a minimum. Here’s the video I recorded of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmFFCLDgEHo
I don’t Aspen has ever had a Yan out of its four mountains. The tower head looks like a normal Poma, Yan towers have the sheave assemblies installed in a different place on the tower along with where the tower connects to the tube. Interesting that this lift didn’t recieve a Delta terminal, was the Delta used only for larger installations?
Yes. So is L-lift at Copper and the similar-vintage Pomas at Purgatory. The one you show wasn’t available in the States (although it did make it into the maintenance manuals; I have a few drawings that didn’t make sense to me until I joined remontees-mecaniques and saw the lifts in France).
Once the Shadow Mountain Double is Replaced, this will (I believe) be the last Lift in the aspen merger left without bars, correct me if I’m wrong

What is this chair model? I’ve never seen it before.

Was an early poma carrier design, also was seen on https://liftblog.com/double-suicide-six-vt/, can’t think any other chairs that had them.

THAT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A POMA.

The only part that doesn’t look poma is the carriers. The drive and return were used on later poma lifts, like https://liftblog.com/villager-stratton-vt/

These were the chairs that predated the POMA Arceaux/Falcon carriers. They’re a POMA design from the 1970s.

They are much more common in France. I know that Suicide Six in VT has them on their double chairlift, as does Middlebury (also in VT) on their Sheehan double.

I find it interesting this lift does not have the poma lifting frames

They were probably an option from Poma that they chose not to opt for. At the time lifting frames were still seen as a “luxury”.

It’s the Mountain Top Triple at Berkshire East, MA. Originally installed at Ski Rio, NM as the Bravo lift in 1982 and relocated in 2009. https://liftblog.com/mountain-top-berkshire-east-ma/
