The safety bars appear to be new. A picture from coloradoskihistory.com shows this Lift without bars.

This Lift has a rare early alpha drive, I believe this was produced just after the delta was discontinued.

I was told a couple weeks ago that this was the prototype Alpha, at least in North America. There may be a few in France a year older.
Since Peter took these photos, Cooper has retrofitted the drive and controls a third time, this time to the current LPOA offerings.

okemo’s morning star lift is also of this design.

I just saw some photos on a Facebook page of that lift- bottom drive but otherwise the same. Very cool!

I know a few other lifts that actually still run with them
Morning Star at Okemo (relocated from the Northeast triple at the same ski area)
Deer Run at Mohawk Mountain (relocated from the long defunct Ski Rio)
