I am really struggling to understand what the original thought was for the pony express and iron horse lifts being different allignments. They were built only one year apart so moonlight had to have foreseen needing lift access farther down from the current bottom of Iron horse, especially since they were exclusively a real estate development at that point. Prior to all the real estate development moonlight should have set this area up in a way where one continuous lift. Does anyone have any insight into early moonlight basin development that could answer this???
