I know Pow Mow is pretty devoted to a limited number of lifts and low overall capacity, but it might be time for them to add another lift or two to boost capacity in the face of unprecedented demand and an expanding bed base. Even if they want to leave the advanced/expert terrain alone, improving beginner and intermediate accessibility should be pretty popular. An easy one that stands out to me is a lift from the bottom of Hidden Lake to the top of Sunrise to replace the platter and make that whole pod more accessible and used.

CHESSNOTCHECKERS. I don’t get your issue with Donald? Maybe theirs a background there, but a lot of us have other things we’re interested in too. I might not agree with Donald on everything but their is no reason for him to be banned. It bugs the hell out of me when someone says ban this person or something of another.
It’s all speculation of course, but I’d think a better alignment for such a lift (which I agree should be a priority) would start near the base of Hidden Valley as suggested but terminating slightly to the east next to where the Mary’s Lift tops out. This would provide that same lapable low-angle terrain access under/adjacent to the liftline while also facilitating much more convenient access to Cobabe Canyon, the Mary’s Lift pod and the Summit Village itself.

Pretty thorough devotion to the Thiokol lineage at this ski area.

That would probably be a high speed quad about 5,440 feet long.

A question for you Don, are you a skier, or are you just into outlandish lift tech at the major resorts? Both are valid.

Donald is a longstanding contributor here who adds a huge amount to the discussion.
Aside from being someone with bad spelling and typing skills, who are you?

Hidden lake is now operating in the summer with the new owners. The orignal owners I believe bought the mountain back.
