It seems like the summer they installed the two detachables, they would’ve been much better off relocating the Triple Chair to Palisades and installing Palisades on the front side out of base. I skied Red Lodge twice this last season, and asked one of the lift mechanics about that and he told me that at 24 years old, Palisades has only 1,900-2,000ish hours & has sometimes gone multiple years without spinning a single day to the public sometimes. Snowmaking would be hugely beneficial to the Palisades area.

Yes, Palisades should be relocated. However, Red Lodge is owned by JMA Ventures and it isn’t the best ski area operator in my opinion. It also owns Homewood.

I had no idea they owned this as well, that would explain any management issues

Well they got Sunnyside HST from Alta, so Miami Beach is going to be detachable.

Still would have been nice if Sunnyside was a bit longer originally and the Triple itself could be replaced, and Red Lodge would have finally had a true High Speed network.

Even then, good to finally see some movement to get Red Lodge as a decent option in the region.
