According to Colorado Ski History, this lift came from Mammoth. I think it was Lift 26, which was removed without replacement in 2008. It could have also been Lift 17 which was replaced by the Schoolyard Express in 2004, but 26 had lifting frames like this lift, and 17 did not. 26 also had the same motor room design as this lift. The height adjustment for the drive was not retained during the relocation.
I remember seeing a documentary about the installation of a chairlift here on either history or discovery channels.

It is, but it does have a tower for it if they need it or when they need it?

It is Chair 26 From Mammoth Mountain it was replaced in 2008 and I checked the length
