If you’re referring to the Matt Liapis map on skimap.org, that’s an error. It’s pretty common he got carrier size wrong for the first few years. Still a really neat product though.

Good possibility? I know some mountains like to keep vaults and shacks around when alignment of new lift doesn’t interfere- makes for great storage areas.

It would be great if they put a lift going from the bottom of Sherwood to somewhere around the top of ward peak, the terrain there is great and its pretty mellow in some palaces, they could get a great advanced/intermediate bowl there.

I swear a large number of people skiing that terrain are people who have skiied in from the top of ward peak. Although I can think of two issues. I imagine either wind or environmental issues would be a thing to consider. Despite the cell towers already being there I cant imagine anyone could get away with more landscaping on the top of that peak. I think the most feasible option would be another HSQ to the skiiers left of Sherwood and a surface lift coming from the corner of the traverse by Alpine Bowl, or by the traverse from summit to alpine bowl. This would relive wind issues and while it wont lead to the terrain being directly lappable on Ward Peak it would make it easier to access.
