I’m more impressed by the resort’s ability to even fit the upper terminal of the lift onto Flagstaff Mountain’s crowded summit, as they had to thread this lift between the Northside and Quincy Express lifts.
Look at the Worldbook entry when there were no buildings around it. Now there are 10-story buildings lining both sides of the bottom section. The lift was built before any of the lodges, but they must have needed to avoid a property line.
My very unstraight detachable Quad ever! Love how the bottom of the lift line and terminal is surrounded by condos. Recommend it for beginners. Definitely a very quiet lift at Flagship Mountain
The original plan for this lift called for a different alignment that would have terminated next to the top of Red Cloud. The decision to instead have the lift terminate at the top of Flagstaff Mountain was a bit last-minute, which is why they were forced to add a slight angle and place the top terminal in a bit of an awkward location above the other three lifts.
It’s impressive how the lift turns a few degrees to avoid contact with the lodge next to it. Also, there is 107 chairs in this lift.

They just keep adding buildings around this lift. The whole bottom station is surrounded by buildings.

Someone crashed into a lift tower for this lift while tubing at night after things had closed. What a shame. They didn’t make it. https://www.ksl.com/article/50537719/oregon-woman-killed-in-tubing-accident-at-deer-valley-
