I ski all over Maine, Nh, and Vermont but mostly at Cranmore. This lift is one of the best hsq’s I have ridden. It is very fast and has very few problems. The Fairbank Group has done great things for Cranmore since they bought it in 2010! Cannot wait until they build a new base lodge. Would like to see the lookout triple replaced but that is a pipe dream because it does not get much use. Skimobile transports skiers and riders up just fine. It is also their workhorse lift and is in great condition as far as I can tell.

Anyone else notice how light the restraining bar is when riding the lift

It did. It now has updated Doppelmayr controls, with an outdoor panel under both the uphill and downhill sides of each terminal, along with new operator’s huts. You can see recent pictures from the most recent (2023) Hannes Schneider Meistercup Race on my website:

Does this lift have Agamatic or DT grips?

DT grips; I don’t think Agamatic grips were used until after the merger with Garaventa CTEC.
