This lift was constructed in 2024 to replace a double chair that serviced an alpine slide and ski slope.
The lift parallels a second double chair that will eventually be removed.

They’re going to be removing the scenic chairlift, right?

Yes, switchover to the new quad will come in a month or so. Then the double will go.

It really doesn’t look like they’ll be supporting skiing from this side of the resort any longer with the addition on this lift. With the load station uphill and the mid-unload geared to the alpine slide, it seems pretty impossible for skiers to be riding this lift.

Haven’t snowboarded here, but the 2024 trail map shows a blue run called Alpine Way that skis off the mid-unload. So maybe it will run at least some in winter? Would be interesting to see if the resort has the ability (permits? land ownership?) to cut any trails off the top of Mt. Harrison.

Will they be making trails off of Mt. Harrison?
