Skylift – Natural Bridge, KY

This Riblet double is the only operating aerial lift in Kentucky as of 2020.
The lift line ascends a steep natural cliff band.
Drive station with tensioning.
Tower 1.
Towers are spaced quite far apart along most of the line.
Middle part of the lift line with an interesting profile.

The lift is located in a State Park but privately operated.

The part of the lift which goes down even on the upbound trip.

The chairs and drive terminal were upgraded some time in the 1980s or ’90s.

    Interesting window-style AC unit on the drive terminal. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a drive terminal with AC before 🤣
