This is the former Collins lift from Alta.Yan drive-tension station.Rare Yan center pole chairs with pads removed.Yan Y towers.Upper lift line.Fixed top station.Looking down from the summit.Return bullwheel.Lift line overview.
It come from two of the runs the lift serves: the lift runs right up the Sluice Box run & unloads you at the top onto the Golden Goose run. Not sure where the Caboose part came from, possibly just added because it rhymed with the other 2 words.
I change my mind a lot, but for now this gets my vote for best lift name ever.

I dig. It’s unique for sure.

Are the back slats always removed? I’m guessing not.

The back slats are made of webbing like the chairs on Wildcat at Alta so I guess they remove them to prolong their life span.

The back slats have since been replaced with welded steel instead of the removable webbing.
