Should this be labeled as a chondola or do they run chairlifts and gondolas separately depending on the season?

They only have one gondola cabin that is rarely used so I would say not yet a chondola.

Once they have more cabins, then they might be able to have the gondola cabins on in the summer and chairs on in the winter, kinda like the silver bullet express at blue mountain, on.

This lift is designed to operate with both simultaneously. It is a Chondola but it only has chairs as of now. I believe Silver Bullet is only designed to have one or the other.

Does anyone know why that gondola cab is there or why it is called the VIP gondola?

Rumor I heard is that it’s for the owner of the resort. But I’ve never seen it run.

The cabin was actually a gift to the owners of the resort from the CEO of Doppelmayr, Mr. Doppelmayr himself.

In some of the photos, you can see a portal tower labeled 12. What lift was that?

It’s from Summit 2, which still operates on the same route, albeit shortened and renamed Little Gray.
