Summit – Highland, NH

This lift was installed in 1987 to service skiers. After eight years closed, it reopened as a mountain bike lift.

On the last photo you can see a station from the Summit T-bar.

Capacity might be cut in half due to the bike carriers, Did peter account for that?

I hope that Highland can replace this with a new lift. Capacity can’t be good at all and it is a long ride at about 10 minutes long. Who knows, they seem to be pretty successful so they may be able to afford a detachable at some point.

Why did Borvig make some lifts (like this one) with extremely long hanger arms?
