Yes. Part of American Skiing Company’s opening blitz when they rebranded as The Canyons in 1997-98, when they built Tombstone and what is now the Red Pine gondola with Poma, Saddleback with Garaventa CTEC, and Sun Peak (then Snow Canyon) with Doppelmayr. The original Tombstone Poma quad is now at Steamboat as Sunshine, and the six pack there now reused the Poma towers. Everything the various other owners of the Canyons side has built since was either used or under the Doppelmayr CTEC umbrella, until the Over and Out quad from Skytrac and then the Sunrise Gondola going in this summer from Leitner-Poma.
Pretty sure this lift’s capacity is more like 2,000 pph or something.
