After doing an extensive search on liftblog and skilifts.org, I believe this chair may have originated at Angel Fire Ski Resort in New Mexico as Lift 5, removed in 1996 (which is when this chair went in). Lift 5 at Angel Fire was built in 1979. I’m not sure if Riblet was still producing this chair design by 1979, but everything else about that lift matches up nicely with this lift.
Skiingbc.info lists the Sundance chair as being installed by Mad River Lifts. After doing a few Google searches, it appears the company is no longer in business. Even through scanning their website through archive.org, I cannot find any indication of where this lift might have come from. My best guess is that this chair is many separate Riblets put together?
Those motor rooms were super cramped inside. I imagine they wanted a bit more space. Old chair 5 at Baker was like this original motor room, and though I’m a fairly small human I could hardly get around inside.

Riblet built several of these in the 80s but none that I’ve seen have lifting gantries.
