Sunset will only go to a HSQ, when they build the day log at its base and in theory they will move this lift over to the new expansion to the west. I don’t think this will ever happen due to the fact that Holimont started to get hills ready for the expansion and built the road for homes, and they still needed to have the condos go in before they can even think about putting in the day lodge or HSQ here. The big talk in the area is not if but when Holimont is going to no longer be a private club and eventually be merging with HV.
Unless this lift is in poor condition, there really is no need for a HSQ to replace this lift, it is fine as-is, unless it gets a lot of slow-down due to mis-loads. It is quick enough for it’s length. Thoughts?
