After the mishap yesterday and the incident in August 2020, perhaps it is time to replace this 57-year-old lift. With 250,000 annual riders, a 3S could make sense given the profile.

It actually happened in August 2019. The tram stalled for about 8 minutes in the big span. I was on the tram during the incident. It was terrifying

Naah she’s good for another 20 or so years. Ice can do this to any modern lift.
