Something very interesting I found on Google Maps: https://www.google.com/maps/@43.2924989,-73.7311473,173m/data=!3m1!1e3
It looks like there was/is an Alpha terminal near the base of the old Thiokol triple chair. If I’m correct, the original plan was to have the other part of the Barnstormer lift replace the Thiokol, but I take it it wasn’t long enough. Anyone know where this terminal came from, and where it went (If it isn’t still around)?
The terminal was installed and then dismantled and put on the edge of the woods. the company who bought it picked it up in 2020. i cant remember if it was scrapped or if it was bought by a mountain. it was in the woods already when i started working there

I think it came from the old Valley House double at Sugarbush (C&S lift with a Poma alpha terminal). https://newenglandskihistory.com/lifts/viewlift.php?id=112

I could be wrong, but I think it went to Catamount for their new triple chair.

Where would the HSQ go if built?

Here’s some pictures of the old Northwest Thiokol Triple. You can see the old Poma Alpha terminal that was supposed to be used for the replacement.
