Hi, you forgot to remove the platter as it was recently replaced with the magic carpet.

There was also a Poma Platter in the base area from 1953-1994. Started near Chair 1 & 2 and ended roughly where Far East’s top terminal is today.

A few of the towers are still on the mountain in their original spots as lighting rigs.

For those who are curious, White Pass contracted a media company to produce a history video for the resort. It’s a pretty good summation:

Yakima Herald today: “The new owners are working with the SE Group, a ski facility planning consultant firm based in Colorado. Cooper said they are examining issues such as the maximum number of skiers the facilities and parking can accommodate, along with where a new chairlift might go.”

Ha get tricked. They removed a lift. A cool one at that. I can only hope that they left some of the towers up or maybe a terminal of old chair one… replaced by a dud

I think the new lift will go to chair 4 for is because if you go to skiwhitepass.com it lists every single left except for chair 2 and chair 4 chair four was opened every other year and this is the first year it’s been closed.

I still think it is going to be replaced Because chair 1 was around 38 years old when it got replaced and chair 4 is around 38 years old.

not sure about the first one appears to have a AS&W single chair in the background and a riblet in the foreground. The second one is defiantly White pass. Though the slide is flipped.
