This was the last true CTEC lift built at Holiday Valley before the manufacturer merged with Doppelmayr.Loading area and unique motor room enclosure.Bottom terminal.Steep lift line. The top terminal.Breakover towers.
This lift was known as quite difficult to load since the chair spacing was always extremely close. Despite a slow operating speed, you still had to be quick!
I loved this lift. Never been on a chairlift with such close chair spacing. There were 85 chairs on this lift. I’m happy they replaced it even though the capacity is shorter on the newer lift. The chairs are the same as Creekside and Snowpine I’m pretty sure they’re all Graventa ctec chairs? Is the lift the same length or shorter now?
The motor room enclosure on this lift was also used on the V-Hill Quad at Craigleith Ski Club

I love the motor room design on this one. Any idea if it sold? I’m sure a less developed mtn out west would love something like this.
