Zoofari Skylift – Montgomery Zoo, AL

This double chair was installed by SkyTrans in 2012.
The lift is mostly Mueller but with other parts such as Stadeli chairs.

The presenting sponsor of the Skylift is Alabama Power as of 2019.

    There’s a problem with this. The spreadsheet says it was installed in 2012 whereas the pictures say it was installed in 2002. I can imagine it was 2002 but I may be wrong. It also seems to be a Stadeli with Doppelmayr towers, not a Mueller.

        I don’t think there is any Meuller in this lift, Stadeli made that style drive too, the old beginner double at Taos had the same drive and return terminals as this lift the only change looks to be the towers.

        Also that looks to be the same drive terminal as on the Loaf’s Sawduster Double, an early ’70s Stadeli.

          Stadeli had a drive terminal similar to Mueller, but there are some differences. Mueller’s drive terminals were more straight up, whereas the Stadeli terminals were slanted more. Also, Mueller’s counterweights were different than Stadeli versions. Here are a few examples:
