Wasn’t sure if you knew that these emails no longer show the photos. Maybe it is just me but I doubt it. This is how it shows when I get it, which makes it sorta pointless.
It’s not just you. WordPress and Instagram/Facebook made an intentional change not to embed posts in emails due to security concerns. Keep in mind there are other ways to stay up to date by visiting the website directly or following Lift Blog on Facebook or Twitter. A lot of post elements aren’t displayed very well in emails.
In an attempt to be compatible with lots of different e-mail clients, WordPress’ e-mails use table tags instead of div tags which changes the way the content is formatted a bit. I get the e-mails, but I just use them as a link to click on to view the post on this website instead.
