Until Zop retired, comfort bars were anathema. I agree that there’s something off, though. I kinda think the only CTEC lineage carriers that had any flair were the 70s Thiokols, pacifier bars or not. (I really, really dig the old Dopp triples, but that’s pre-merger by much years.)

I bet this one is more difficult to bump than the old one. I could pick the old chairs up by myself, they were so light.
i personally think doppie chairs look really bad without bars

Did you know Zop? Also, I dig the term ‘pacifier bars’. I may have to steal it- I’ve always hated when people call them ‘safety bars’.

These chairs have since had bars added, same with Chair 5 @ Baker. Second year working up there and these chairs are absolutely brutal to bump.
