This is the longest lift at Holiday Valley and was the first detachable built here.Lift overview.Early Stealth model station.Long drive terminal. The bottom terminal is located in the middle of the golf course.Top terminal next to the Yodeler quad.Side view of the top station.Terminal under skin.View from the summit.Tower 14 and the top station.Tower 10.Lower lift line.Garaventa Vail style carriers.Lift line overview.Another view of the top station. The first few towers in winter.
This is the only detachable here with a normal-length ride time, with the other 2 having ride times of under 3 minutes. It is also the only lift to have footrests, at least as of when I last went here 2 years ago
Because it was Garaventa CTEC, you had the option. When we planned the new quads at Baker in the early 2000s we specced the Garaventa carriers because they’re easier to stuff kids on than the CTEC carriers, due to the Garaventa bail being swept back out of the way.

Why did the use the “Garaventa-style” chair on this lift? Most of the lift that are similar to this one have the rounder CTEC style chairs.

Will this lift be scrapped when the 6-pack goes in next year? It’s only 25 years old
