Now that Winter Park has replaced the Pioneer Ridge lift with the Wild Spur, I think the next thing they need to upgrade isn’t a lift but the Mary Jane Lodge. It is seriously in need of upgrading, or even replacing completely.
I just had this video recommended to me too. Fascinating video, basically a bunch of technicians testing out their “what would happen” theories. Would love to see a modern version of this on an old HSQ or something

All of the high speed lift got new paint schemes except Gemini and Olympia. The terminals are now like olive green with some brown.

Olympia needs that paint job soon. The terminals are very rusty, it makes the lift look older than it really is.

I don’t know I still think Olympia needs an upgrade more although I haven’t been in that building.

Olympia won’t be upgraded any time soon. It’s getting a new haul rope currently.

A haul rope usually lasts 30-40 years according to Google.

For the 25-26 season, every chair #50 on the Jane side lifts were painted gold, to celebrate Mary Jane’s 50th anniversary.
