A Dopplemayr 3 S gondola is a thing of beauty.
Do you think 3 cable systems will ever trickle down to chairs? To make it remotely affordable. It would be great for wind-prone ski areas to not have to close down the chair lifts all the time.

If you’re referring to the one in this post at the Matterhorn, it’s a Leitner.
Pininfarina did a superb job designing the aesthetics for Leitner, by far the best style in the industry IMO.
Regardless, I agree the 3S systems around the world are very impressive.
