there appears to be some chair next to bear mountain express. They look like LPA detachable quad chairs but they might be Garaventa chair removed for NDT. If they are new chairs, does anyone know whether they will replace the ones on Bear Mountain express or go on a new lift or the interconnect? Upon further inspection, it appears that the chairs are from Goldrush and that Goldrush is being decommissioned, possibly replaced with the LPOA shown in Peter’s 2024 new lifts spreadsheet. Seems odd that Big Bear is replacing one of their newest and shortest fixed grips considering that they operate countless older model Halls and Riblets.
if you look at the “beginner area” webcam there seems to be another stack of chairs next to the carpet lift, looks like they could be the chair 2 double chairs. The master plan calls for chairs 2 and 5 to be replaced by a single HSS. I wonder if they are tying to get that done this year, seems late to start now but we shall see.
