Re: Marmot Basin’s post
We mechanics have always been the men (and lately, women, which is great) in black, content to be the invisible (and usually surly) people behind the scenes. Even people who work at the same area we do don’t know all that we take care of, which especially at smaller areas can run the gamut from actual lift maintenance to repairing the boot dryers in the rental shop. That said, I’m enjoying the trend recently for our marketing departments to highlight our work. Guess I’m tired of being asked what I do in the summer.
