Why do so many ski areas have so much trouble grooming their slopes?
It does not seem to matter if they are making millions or just small ski areas they seem to not be able to groom. Crystal mtn makes millions every weekend yet they mtn management is terrible. 49 degrees north is a much less profitable ski area but full of enthusiasts except for the groomers.
There is not one area in wshington state that has decent grooming. Yet right across the border in Canada Apex, white water, red mtn, Kimberly, big white and silver star do fabulous grooming.
