Interesting how the Echo Mountain sale page changed from “Denver Private Ski Area” to “Rocky Mountain Region”. Guessing they want to keep this sale on the downlow and not give any details for us to figure out what area they are talking about.

I’m not surprised Echo is up for sale. No one really considers Echo for skiing except maybe those who live in Evergreen. Not enough profit to be sustainable.

That sucks about Adventureland, was looking forward to riding it next year. Very cool how they built a coaster around it. At least the money is going to my favorite charity, Give Kids the World.

Just seeing from the news report that it will be a miracle to have snow ridge open for this season…I hope they can survive and open next season but I have a feeling that they will need to replace cables and chairs…both not a cheap replacement.

I didn’t realize the new Challenger starts where Greyhawk did, so it’s on a very very slightly different alignment than the old one. Probably cutting trees on the right side of the lift line on the bottom section of the lift, and on the left side of the lift line at the top since it ends a bit to the left of the old one.
