I’m curious to see what Whistler does for the Emerald stations. It’s also interesting they chose more gray elements on the gondola station rather than what they did for Harmony 6, which used a lot of white.

Should be the same as Harmony, but I think with a green stripe. Haven’t seen the cladding out of the packaging yet. Harmony is a light grey.

From what I saw I’m guessing Emerald’s terminals will be light grey with a green stripe and outer trim around the terminal- though I could be wrong. We’ll find out soon!

Powder mountain was evacuated because of a wildfire nearby. It was a precaution and isn’t threatening the resort. The fire started by the Avon shooting range.

Still there and I have a forum account, but Peter’s site is way better. In fact someone posted on the forum that people are actually giving up on the forum to follow Lift Blog. They have not updated anything for a decade, so it’s really not a surprise they’re losing so many visitors.

Erik wanted to have the site be more focused around lift maintenance than general ski lift and industry topics so the site has been somewhat abandoned. I helped build a lot of it, but it’s basically a time capsule now as I no longer have site access.
