Hickory New York don’t have no lifts. Just some a couple of tows.

Three surface lifts, which is three lifts, which is more than just some a couple of tows. Liking the AI syntax, bee tee dubs. Keep it coming.

Without going overboard, what do they want to do too little whiteface….wouldn’t it just be better to replace it with a quad and be done with 2 separate lifts in the same area.

The secret lore is that installing The Notch is seen as a practice run for a similar HSQ + Midstation (with a gnarlier lift line) to replace LWF but I just made that up so who knows.
Part of me likes LWF a lot as-is because of the history and character of the mountain, I wonder if ORDA feels similarly, or I wonder if it’s the desire to have a fixed grip option to Little Whiteface Summit for days when wind prevents detachables from running. You also have to consider that WF doesn’t want to cut any trees if they don’t have to.

Sounds like it will stay a double. “The contractor would provide new Drive and Return Terminals, towers between the Drive Terminal and the Mid/Intermediate Terminal, chairs and grips, wire rope, communication and fiber lines, and an AC Drive System.” New towers for the bottom portion might mean they are getting rid of Mountain Run?
