    So where are Canadian investors and companies to run Alberta’s attractions? Step up or stop whinging.

      That was my immediate thought too. Also… It’s an old scenic tram. There isn’t a massive resort, bike park, other lifts, etc to screw up. If one of us greedy Americans bought Sea to Sky or a whole ski area like Marmot Basin, I’d be more sympathetic.

        I can understand their point, but they should do something to prevent this. We don’t need further national park degradation.

          Well, it’s an existing tram so where’s the additional development? Besides, aren’t national parks for the people = tourists?

          You have a point on the development, however, national parks are for the animals first, not the tourists, it’s about preserving a beautiful place and the wildlife living inside it. More people means the demand for more lodging, attractions and other developments which we don’t want.
