I find it interesting that the Hermitage Club’s planned detachable quad is expected to cost marginally more than Killington’s planned Snowdon fixed grip quad at $6 million. I realize the cost of new lifts has gone up significantly in recent years but logically it does not add up. I believe Belleayre allotted $6 million for replacing Lift 7 in 2023 with a detachable and it ended up being a fixed grip quad. Are brand new fixed grips and detachables this similar in price now?

Mt. Jefferson Maine posted on their Facebook page today that their ski season was a success and will open again next year. They previously posted that this would be their last year operating. Also in the post they mentioned “the date of a potentially donated double chairlift from a larger ski resort!”
