So it appears Vail didn’t sell the old lift 17 after all and decided to auction off the chairs? Did any other parts of the lift get reused or sold?

They had a ton of old triple carriers in their boneyard last I saw- it’s possible they’re from that stash? When they turned BC’s old 4 into Vail Mountain’s 12, I have to think there were quite a few extras.

Montana Snowbowl’s reply to the Forest Service to address last season’s chairlift accident and subsequent response was due last week. have you seen this or submitted a FOIA request for it?

Speaking of Desert. The lower portions of Mayflower will be in the desert some years. It will defiantly need a 100% solid snowmaking system.
