Very exciting news for the Idaho Springs Gondola!! With how popular lift-serviced mountain biking has become in Colorado, another place to offer it will sure be exciting, especially with how close it is to Denver.

Maybe. Idaho springs is very rough to be in during the weekends, limited space, limited parking.

Something that may be related to the Grizzly lift at Bear Valley is the future Firebowl lift at China Peak (which was supposed to go in this summer) will be sent to Bear Valley.

Maybe this area will be served by that quad chair?

There is no way the cost to replace the grips on the gondola at Gore is that price. A Doppelmayr TB-104 is $5,800.

The bid amount is $1,105,001 or $15,137 per grip.

Cabins will cost $3,055,977. Total cost of each new cabin plus grip is $56,987.

Interestingly, the Little Whiteface project was originally supposed to be this summer but Doppelmayr had the only bid – $7.67 million – too much even for ORDA. So they put it back out to bid for next year and have budgeted $5 million.

Is that a recent quote for 73 grips, delivered?

I’m glad to hear that the Estes Park Tram will be running once again. It is a cool piece of Colorado history. And with Sunlight removing the Segundo lift this summer, I think it is the oldest ropeway in the state.

Does Doppelmayr even still make EJ double chairs?

Also would the new Little Whiteface lift be an Alpenstar or Tristar

Would Gore have to modify their omega terminals for the Northwoods gondola if they bought new cabins and grips?
