      They built 48 lifts between 1980 and 1996. 41 are still operating in seven Canadian provinces.

        I could be mistaken, but wasn’t Blue Mountain Lifts acquired by Leitner?

        That would make sense because the first Leitner-branded lift went in at Snow Valley, Ontario in 1997 and looks a lot like a Blue Mountain lift.

        Peter, that lift at Snow Valley is actually branded as Leitner BM. I am not aware of any others like that.
        I have been told it was actually a fairly unique lift as the first carpet loading fixed grip six person in North America. And by carpet – it is actually a carpet, not the plastic stuff nowadays.

    Blue Mountain Lifts, aka BM Lifts was located in Barrie, Ontario Canada and was indeed acquired by Leitner Lifts, Spa in 1997. Leitner Poma Canada is the perpetuation of that Company. Still in Barrie.👍
