Not a lot of happy campers on the Steamboat facebook page when they posted about the Ikon pass prices. Many preferred the old Rocky Mountain Super Pass. Can’t say I blame them. Most pass holders are not going to be going to the out of state areas associated with the pass.

A lot of people at Mammoth are pissed at the price increase, and are complaining that they’re being priced out for no noticeable gain. I’ve hear talk that Alterra is going to offer resort-by resort passes, which may solve the issue.
