Greetings from Chile! My name is Jimmy Ackerson, GM of Corralco ski Resort.
Was wondering if you might publish the fact that we have purchased the Mardi Gras detach quad from Holiday Valley NY and are looking to have it operating in June 2024. It will be only the second detach in the country and the first on the south of Chile.
We obviously are quite enthused with this step and look forward to more and more North Americans visiting us between June and November!

The new D-Line gondola (from the video) replaces a 1984 6-seat WSO Stadeli gondola with Giovanola clamps. I wish Stadeli had a better presence here in the US; maybe Poma and Doppelmayr had already taken over by then.

Per the latest Twitter post from Sugarbush, the lifts slated to be replaced are Heaven’s Gate, which was previously mooted to be upgraded with a FG quad, and Northridge, which has a long history of mechanical issues and is likely headed for the scrap heap. No word on timing though.
